Just an update to get back in the updating kind of...you know...mood?

AHEM.

THIS WEEKEND IS GOING TO BE SO AWESOME!!!!

Natilee and I, on Friday are going to get our hair cut...mine has grown long and hot and heavy and unmanageable again, and she just wants hers cut. Then later, we go...KARAOKE!!! In Shibuya...which I may or may not have mentioned before...is my favorite place in all THE WORLD. Except for maybe my house with the Moms and Dads and the aminals...and The dwelling place of the Evil Twin...and such...yeah.

Anyway...I LOVE Karaoke (I know I've said that before...) This song I've been waiting and waiting and waiting for has FINALLY hit the Karaoke scene, and the Cheap place in Shibuya has...White Rabbit!!!!! YEAH!!! (Among other songs I thought I'd never see in Japan, or haven't seen thus far). So that's Friday. Then on Saturday I am FINALLY going to Disney, and the Tennis Club is taking me!!!! AH!!! Minna, (everyone) I love you so much!!! Then, on Sunday...there is...THE LONG AWAITED GACKT CONCERT OF MY DREAMS!!!!! Natilee and I are psyched!!!!!! (There are a whole lot of !!!! in this update so far...^.-)

I went to Odaiba the other day and got to ride the giant ferris wheel from which you can see Tokyo Tower!!! (next is actually GOING to Tokyo Tower...the dream the dream!!) There's a lot of those left to fulfill before I go home, but I have accomplished some.

So there's this guy Daishi in my Tennis Club who flirts with me a lot...and I do my pathetic best to flirt right back...but because I'm, you know...ME...doesn't work out so well...but it's the thought that counts, right? Anyway, last Wednesday was Takayoshi's 22 Birthday Party, and after the restaurant we ate at kicked us out, we split up, and some of us went home, and the rest (including birthday boy) were invited to Daishi's apartment to party (AKA parental types: sit around and talk and when Dodoria falls asleep marker his face and OMG THAT was funny).

Yuka (girl Takayoshi likes and likes him back but aren't going out? There's a lot of cases like this...don't get it at ALL)
Sachi, Yuuko, Kaguya-(Hime(hime means princess and it's what I call her because mukashi mukashi (once upon a time) there was a Princess Kaguya and I just LOVE that name)) and I complete the girls, then
Takayoshi, Daishi, Dodoria(nickname) and Yoshi-senpai (senpai=upperclassmen/senior type person) complete the guys. OK, so, we're all headed to Daishi's apartment.

Takayoshi, Yuka, Dodoria and Yoshi-senpai all decide to head there later? (after doing something? I have no idea...I was confused on that point...but I got the 'we're coming later' part) So then Kaguya, Sachi, Yuuko, Daishi and I all set off for his place. Kaguya decides she wants a taxi cause she doesn't wanna walk there and Sachi and Yuuko agree...I was all like...'Okane ga nai' (no money) guys...I DID NOT WANT TO PAY 4 TAXI...NUUUUU

Then Kaguya said she would pay for mine and I was all, 'no no no no no, can't I just walk with Daishi?' And Daishi took charge and said, "jaa, rizu to issho ni, apaato ni iku" (lis and I will go together) YAY! So we take off and Daishi has a Bicycle sitting in the Bike parking rack in front of the station!!! YAY!!! So I got to ride on the back of it :) So, dream: fulfilled.

Today I had my Pop Culture Midterm, and Feel both good and bad about it. It was an Essay Midterm, and the questions I really liked. It was easy to write about and answer and fill up much space with writing. And Now I'm all thinking..."It sucked, my writing...it was awful...it totally doesn't make sense...a three year-old wrote it" kind of thoughts. Le sigh. Shou ga nai, ne? (nothing u can do about it (now), right?)

Anway, I love that class, I get to write my final research paper on Sailor Moon. What kind of awesome class is this that lets you write about SAILOR MOON for a serious research paper? The Awesome Kind, that's what.

And the other day I caved and bought a video game, Final Fantasy Dissidia, with all the Heroes fighting all the villains from the series...BLISS. CLOUD IS THE BEST AND NO I'M NOT BIASED JUST BECAUSE HE'S MY FAVORITE HE REALLY IS THE BEST. ...yeah. AHEM sorry...I shall continue with more Japan ohanashi (talk)

The other day I fell asleep on the train coming home, and woke up RIGHT at my stop, WHOOHOO!!! Yay for waking up in Tsudanuma instead of Chiba!!! That's skill. That's when you KNOW you have talent and are not EVER going to jump on the wrong train or such or ride the Sobu line to Yoyogi and jump on the Yamanote line and then realize that you are not supposed to be going to Shibuya (like you desire) but infact, now have 20 minutes to make it to Odaiba for class field trip, and are now traveling on a line that is running in the opposite direction. Yeah...it's not like THAT ever happened...and if it did, certainly not RECENTLY. >.>

Anyway, I'm sleepy now, and shall go to bed and dream of KaraokeDisneyGackt WONDERFULNESS.

BTW, Gackt is a superpopular Singer guy. Can be both categorized as Visual Kei (a kind of rock) and J-pop (Japanese pop) Is very attractive. Has deep voice. AM GOING TO BE BREATHING SAME AIR THAT HE IS BREATHING.

(I leave you now with an example of the new Japanese+English language we are creating here at IES program in Tokyo-which is basically treating japanese words like they're english verbs and grammar...very very BATSU (wrong)

I ganbatte'd my butt outa bed this morning - that one's mine (ganbatte means do your best...and i just realized what a difficult concept this is to explain...) Okaasan never says 'you're late' or 'hurry up' she always just says the 'ganbatte' so i started saying i'm gonna ganbatte myself yada yada this, yada yada that (or have 'ganbatte'd')

OMG, u got Nanpa-ed! (Nanpa is a NOUN and it means someone has tried to pick you up)...It's like if I jumped in the ocean and popped out saying...'OMG I got Oceaned' instead of 'wet' or some such)
